I have been trying to find a set of good, safe, workable headphones for cycling. I bought a device that cradles the headphones on my helmet straps, just next to my ear. The problem, I found, is that headphones are designed to use your ear canal and jawbone to transmit low frequencies. All that was lost; the sound was weak and tinny.
One Good Earphone produces a mono source with both haves of your stereo source. Since mono sound is considered safer, than listening to stereo, this usually acceptable in restricted states, or for people desiring a way to safely listen to music. Buy on Amazon.
Nice designs but I happened on this site looking for new tandem bike designs. My wife loves to share a bike with me, but not ride her own. The current tandems are too heavy, too long, and overall just bulky. it seem that there is plenty of room for improvement by moving the rear wheel further forward, so the rear axle is where the second crank is now and having the crankshaft for the rear passenger double as the axle for the rear wheel with a transmission similar to the old three speed internal axle. The rear passenger doesn’t have to match the pace of the front rider, just add more torque. On the other hand, an internal five speed axle of newer design is doable with new technology for a road bike for casual touring, recreation. While piddling with drawings, my mechanical design talents are lacking so I leave it to those design experts. Successfully done this type of drive could also work for portable single bike where the rider is perched over the rear axle with weight forward by the forward leaning rider
