Most web browsers will accept cookies by default, but they can be set to reject cookies, either from all websites or from specific sites. You can also manually delete cookies from your web browser. These options are generally set through a “Privacy” setting in your browser setup. I don’t set cookies directly on Bicycle Design, but the outside advertising providers on this site, most notably Google, do use cookies to collect data on browsing habits. Disclosure

Bicycle Design is written and edited by one person, James Thomas. This blog accepts paid advertising, but the compensation received will never influence the content, topics, or posts made in this blog. Paid advertisements on this blog are only located in the sidebar, header, or below posts (identified clearly as ads). I never allow for paid ad links to be included in the text of a post.

I sometimes receive products from manufacturers to review. In a few cases the items are given to me but usually they are loaned to me by the manufacturer or distributor for a short period of time. I do NOT accept payment from any company to review products (excluding the value of the merchandise that I am reviewing). The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely mine and are not influenced by companies which advertise or provide review product to the blog. Basically, what I am trying to say is that I am going to be honest with you and tell you what I think about any product I review or discuss on this blog. Honesty is the best policy, so if I can ever think of a potential conflict of interest on any topic, I will mention it in the post.
