Jim G, I like your idea about modern interpretations of classic functional bike designs. Actually, that is something that I am quite interested in. I don’t have much time now to sketch bike ideas, but I have posted on that subject several times. This post has a quick sketch that I did which is probably the closest so far to the concept you describe.

I like the pursuit bike sketch! I’d love to see sketches and other ideas regarding modern interpretations of classic touring and/or randonneuring bikes, with full fenders, baggage/racks, lighting, etc. For example: a carbon fork with an integrated wheel fender, front bag rack, and integrated headlamp. Ideas? Thoughts?
