A beautiful Crumpton at NAHBS

You may remember my post about the ultra light (7 pound, 3 ounce) Crumpton fixed gear bike that was shown at Interbike. In response to that post, Lance Johnson of Group de Tete mentioned that they were working on a revised version of the bike. Well, this bike, which I spotted in a Frame Forum NAHBS preview article, appears to be it. Wow, very nice. I wish I could make it to the North American Handmade Bicycle Show to see this, and all the other custom bikes, in person.

For those of you who are not familiar with the show, the 2007 NAHBS will be held March 2-4 at the San Jose Convention center. The show, which is in its third year, showcases the talents of a variety of custom framebuilders. If you are interested, find out more and see pictures from previous shows on the NAHBS website.
