Flashy schmlashy.

Actually, it is pretty nifty. And I don’t mind flashiness (when done well) … as long as there isn’t too much writing (names, words, etc.) and other stickers.

I checked out the link you provided, and for what it’s worth, I do like the other Salsa 29er … the green one. As far as flashy goes, that one is cool.

Of course, I’d still opt for less ‘graphics’ in favour of high quality (deep, rich) paint in nice, integrated colour schemes … with, possibly contrasting colour for the lugs; pin striping … and real, honest to goodness badging (head tube) instead of stickers.

I’m not fond of stickers.

But that’s all just my opinion.
