Wow, check this out. In keeping with yesterday’s post about graphics, I have to pass along this detail shot (from Singletrack Magazine) of the Mamasita, a new cross-country racing 29er from Salsa. This is definitely a flashy graphics scheme, but I like it. More photos of the Scandium and Carbon bike can be found here.

Actually, it is pretty nifty. And I don’t mind flashiness (when done well) … as long as there isn’t too much writing (names, words, etc.) and other stickers.
I checked out the link you provided, and for what it’s worth, I do like the other Salsa 29er … the green one. As far as flashy goes, that one is cool.
Of course, I’d still opt for less ‘graphics’ in favour of high quality (deep, rich) paint in nice, integrated colour schemes … with, possibly contrasting colour for the lugs; pin striping … and real, honest to goodness badging (head tube) instead of stickers.
I’m not fond of stickers.
But that’s all just my opinion.

thank you for recognizing the Salsa stays on the Mamasita. We’re real proud of those stays and the way that frame has come together.
