Same as Scott, as a Greenville native, I wasn't aware of the race until recently - Last week the traffic notice signs were mounted along the Road Race course.

Lucky me! All the riders are coming right by my neighborhood.

I have since researched the race to discover how Big a Deal it really is, so I plan to pass the word and get the family down to the roadside Sunday and cheer-on all the riders.

The kids are going love it.

Palmetto Peloton Project Charity Ride, presented by BI-LO and Dasani – 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Family Ride 10:00 a.m.
Event Expo, with special health and wellness exhibits from Greenville Hospital System – 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Music from B93.7 – 3:00 p.m.
Winner of Fresh New Music contest – 3:30 p.m.
Fresh New Music Artist – 4:15 p.m.
Fresh New Artist, Drew Copeland – 5:00 p.m.
Athlete Presentation – 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Fresh New Artist, Chasen – 7:00 p.m.
Feature Band, Sister Hazel – 8:30 p.m.

I'm not a big cycling fan, but I live in Greenville and had not heard of the event until I came accross your blog.

It sounds like it will be a fun time downtown, as it always is during any given weekend, but this one is sure to please everyone.
