Down in 60 seconds

Posting will be light this week. I have many, many projects consuming my time right now. Later this week, of course, I will be gearing up for the big race weekend. The road race on Sunday crosses over Paris Mountain in northern Greenville five times. As I mentioned, it is a route that I know well, in fact I rode it just yesterday. This morning I saw this video (click to dowload) of the descent down the south side of the mountain from the USA cycling championships website. It is hard to gauge the incline from a video, but I thought this was pretty cool. I am not sure how much they sped up this video, but for the record, I didn’t make it down in anywhere near 60 seconds. I am not sure how long it takes me. I have timed the climb before, but I’ll have to time the descent next time.
