Your turn- take two

Back in November, I posted a CAD template for drawing a mountain bike. I am not sure if anyone has used it, but if so I would love to see the resulting work. For those of you who are more interested in road bikes, here is another really basic template to use for sketching. Just print it out and connect the points however you see fit. If you come up with something that you want to share, email it to me along with your name and a description of the idea and I will post your concept on Bicycle Design. For those of you industrial design students who wish to work in the bicycle industry someday, this is a great opportunity to get your name and work in front of some industry people. Let’s see what kind of great ideas are floating around out there.

Next week is going to be a really busy one for me, so don’t expect any new posts until the week of the 23rd. In the mean time, sharpen your pencils and work on your bike concepts. Who knows, there may be a design contest brewing.
