A recent Cyclelicious post about rocket-powered bikes reminded me of this great design. As much as I would like to claim this one, I must give credit where credit is due. My son drew this bike when he was four and asked me if I could make one like it for him. Sometimes I feel like I could use a bike like this too, but I doubt that race officials would allow it in a time trial.

My kids collaborated on a design for a new bike for me – a stunning pink one with a flowered basket attached to the handlebar! I think they had a good time making fun of me because there was lots of giggling coming from the bedroom while they drew it.
Here’s a song about your bike.
I might have a song about Ed’s bike too, somewhere.
I have to get that Eric Herman CD now. If only I had some sort of flowered basket to carry it home from the store.
