Your turn

I have been traveling this week and my internet access has been pretty spotty. It seems to be working now, so here is a short post that I’ll credit, indirectly at least, to the Masiguy. He left the comment “makes me want to design something” to my recent post about Specialized concept bikes. OK Tim, and anyone else out there itching to design something, here is a template to get you started. I drew this basic mountain bike layout in AutoCAD to serve as an underlay for sketching.

I know a few industrial design students are reading this blog who might have some really great bike ideas to share (actually I only know of one student from an email, but I’m sure there are more of you out there). If anyone has a cool sketch or rendering that they would like to share, email it to me and I will post it on Bicycle Design (and of course give you credit). So what are you waiting for? Bicycles are fun to draw; just print out the template and get started.
